Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe
Have you or a member of your family been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL), melanoma, or breast cancer? If so, the tribe is seeking updated information in support of its lawsuit against Monsanto for damages caused to the tribe by Monsanto’s polychlorinated biphenyls (“PCBs”).
The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe sued Monsanto during October 2018 in St. Louis County, Missouri. The suit was filed on behalf of its tribal members who continue to suffer from the long-lasting effects of Monsanto’s polychlorinated biphenyls that have poisoned members, contaminated natural resources, and caused irrevocable changes to the tribe’s culture and way of life. Several individual tribal members have also filed suit, alleging that Monsanto’s polychlorinated biphenyls have increased their risk of cancer and other diseases.
