News Release

American Indian Center, Chicago, Illinois

The American Indian Center invites Native youth (ages 25 and under) to participate in an upcoming youth art exhibit, Roots of Resilience . We encourage youth to come and use the gallery space to display their artwork - contributing their interpretations of the exhibit title. The floor is open for youth to challenge, create, and conquer.

Roots of Resilience is an exhibit meant for the self-empowerment of youth. To express overcoming the hardships faced of being Native in work-spaces, schools, or your communities. It is important that we empower one another by acknowledging our historical roots, telling our stories and sharing our identities.
