SAINT PAUL, MN — Native Governance Center, a Native American nonprofit organization that empowers Tribal nations through leadership development and Tribal governance support, is holding a Nation Building Celebration on November 9, 2018.
The convening, which will take place at Mystic Lake Center in Prior Lake, MN (Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community), will feature community engagement strategies for strengthening Tribal sovereignty. Throughout the daylong program, leaders from across Indian Country, such as Nick Tilsen (President and CEO, NDN Collective) and Kevin Killer (State Senator, South Dakota District 27), will share their insight and wisdom with attendees.
