National Council of Urban Indian Health

Project Firstline is a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) national collaborative of diverse healthcare and public health partners that aims to provide engaging, innovative, and effective infection prevention and control trainings for frontline healthcare and public health workers.

National Council of Urban Indian Health tailors its infection control and prevention training to Urban Indian Organization’s (UIO) frontline healthcare workers and provides resources and material to support current infrastructure. Urban Indian Organization staff may participate in ECHO sessions and/or infection prevention control live trainings and engage with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and other partner Urban Indian Organizations to enhance existing Urban Indian Organization IPC programs. National Council of Urban Indian Health welcomes all Urban Indian Organization staff and leaders to engage in a Virtual Dialogues about current training needs as we emerge from the global COVID -19 pandemic and consider all emerging and re-emerging diseases. With your input, National Council of Urban Indian Health can create meaningful trainings complementary to Urban Indian Organization’s unique service areas.

  4. Recruit for Champions, Fellows, and IPC SMEs for year two
