News Release

If you planned to take the Indigenous Future’s Survey (IFS) but missed the deadline, you still have time to complete the 15-20 minute survey and enter to win prizes such as Nike N7, original artwork, beaded jewelry, and gift cards to some of your favorite Native designers.

Why is this survey important?

This survey is the first of its kind. Design by Native people for Native people to ask about what matters most to us as an Indigenous community. The Indigenous Futures Survey changes the narrative and puts our words in our own voice to tell our story.

Who is leading the survey?

Led by acclaimed researchers Dr. Stephanie Fryberg (Tulalip) and Dr. Arianne Eason in partnership with the Center for Native American Youth and the Native Organizers Alliance, the Indigenous Futures Survey results have far-reaching impact, especially in the lead up to the November election. So far, over 3,000 Native respondents have shared their priorities and hopes for the future. Our goal is to gather responses from more than 5,000 people to ensure the results are truly representative of Indian Country.
