PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

The Navajo Nation Human Rights Commission (“Commission”) is notifying the public on an important public meeting hosted by Arizona Independent Redistricting Commission (“IRC”). The upcoming in-person meeting is the first round of public meetings to gain input from Arizona residents in redrawing Arizona’s congressional and legislative districts boundaries.

It is important that Navajo citizens voice their opinion on how the IRC will be developing the new districts. The IRC will incorporate input from the public in the development of the future districts. If you are unable to attend the in-person meeting visit https://irc.az.gov/survey website to complete the community of interest survey.
