American Indian Graduate Center welcomes new Director of Scholarship Operations

The American Indian Graduate Center is pleased to announce and welcome Dr. Corey Still (United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians) as the new Director of Scholarship Operations.
“American Indian Graduate Center is honored to have Dr. Still join our team as we embark on celebrating our 50 year legacy. The greatest part of our legacy is service to our students. His advocacy work on behalf of Native students aligns with our commitment to our mission and vision. We are thrilled to have an individual with his level of commitment join our team,” stated Angelique Albert, American Indian Graduate Center Executive Director.
“I am extremely excited to be working with an organization that has provided so much, for not only me, but for Native students across the country to pursue and attain a college education,” said Dr. Corey Still. Dr. Still is an American Indian Graduate Center Scholar who received the Gates Millennium Scholarship in 2009. American Indian Graduate Center Scholars is the partner organization that administers the Gates Millennium Scholarship program to American Indian and Alaska Native awardees.
Dr. Still, a recent graduate of the University of Oklahoma’s Ph.D. program in Adult and Higher Education, has dedicated his professional career to serving Native students. He has developed and taught a number of indigenous courses at the university level. His research focuses specifically on the perspective of American Indian students in the college going experience and Native American Men in Higher Education.
