Ryan Zinke leaving Interior

A Saturday tweet from President Donald J. Trump ended speculation about the future of Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke.
"Secretary of the Interior ~~@~~RyanZinke will be leaving the Administration at the end of the year after having served for a period of almost two years. Ryan has accomplished much during his tenure and I want to thank him for his service to our Nation," the president tweeted. "The Trump Administration will be announcing the new Secretary of the Interior next week."
Zinke's resignation comes days before the House of Representatives moves to control by the Democrats. The secretary has been facing at least 15 ethics investigations from his own department, the Department of Justice, and, now, likely probes from the House oversight committees.
Further details will be posted shortly.
