Carina Dominguez is a correspondent for the Indian Country Today Newscast. She’s an enrolled member of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe in Tucson, Arizona.
She’s passionate about reporting on environmental issues, social movements, politics and sports from an Indigenous perspective.
Previously, Carina worked in New York City at CBS Television Network. She was a closed captioning coordinator with production assistant duties for CBS Sunday Morning and the Evening News Weekend Edition.
She’s been a camera operator for live broadcasts. She’s also been published on CBSNews.com, The Arizona Republic and The Tucson Sentinel.
Carina graduated from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University and is a proud mother to her toddler, Talia.
