The Yurok Tribe held a celebration Friday for the homecoming of 217 ceremonial regalia items returned by the Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian. Speakers shared stories about the regalia’s importance and journey home, and some of the items were placed on display. In addition, there was a slide-show presentation for the visitors who filled the Yurok Indian Housing Authority building.
