Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation on Thursday provided $100,000 to help the Cheyenne River Sioux with severe winter storm disaster assistance on their South Dakota reservation. A series of storms have left tribal members without water, heat and electricity. About 8,000 people live on the reservation, which is larger than the states of Rhode Island and Delaware combined.
