The Year in Pictures: NoDAPL, Susan Sarandon, Iroquois Pride and Protectors
ICMN previously illustrated a series of great 2016 images captured by the lens of ICMN photographer and Onondaga territory resident Alex Hamer. As we previously mentioned, in 2016, Hamer traveled extensively in Indian country with trips to Washington D.C., Standing Rock, New York to grab photos of the #NoDAPL protectors, Iroquois youth and Susan Sarandon just to name a few.
His photography has been lauded all over the country and some of his images went viral on social media.
In celebration of the magical moments of 2016 as seen through Hamer’s magic camera lens and talented eye for a beautiful shot, here are 10 MORE great images from 2016 by ICMN’s Photographer Alex Hamer.
