Wyoming tribe to build new hotel at casino

RIVERTON, Wyo. (AP) – The Northern Arapaho Tribe is undertaking its first major expansion of its Wind River Casino at Riverton.

Aug. 17’s groundbreaking ceremony marks the start of construction on a new four-story hotel.

The hotel is planned for an initial 66 rooms with the design including a possible expansion of an additional 24 rooms. The hotel will also offer three suites.

The hotel will be connected to the existing Wind River Casino. The design will match the color and geometric shapes, which are borrowed from the casino and the tribe.

Construction is expected to be completed in 10 months to one year.
