Royal newlyweds Prince William and Kate Middleton, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, spent part of the weekend hobnobbing with the stars in Los Angeles. But before that they wowed aboriginals and the rest of Canada with their grace and style.

Their nine-day trip through Canada and the U.S. included an afternoon at the Dechinta Centre for Research and Learning, on Blachford Lake in the North West Territories, where they received lessons in moose-hide tanning, fish drying and other skills used in living off the land. These videos give, sans soundtrack, a glimpse into their time at Blachford Lake.

After the videos, read more about the royal visit here and here, and learn more about the Dechinta Centre.
