Widening bribery case reaches Crow Creek tribal chairman

The chairman of the Crow Creek Sioux Tribe has been indicted on four counts of bribery in a case that already has snared three other tribal officials. Duane Dale Big Eagle, 60, of Fort Thompson was arraigned Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Pierre on two counts of conspiracy to commit bribery of a tribal official and two counts of bribery involving an agent of an Indian tribal government, according to court documents.
