The Cherokee Nation tapped some of their elders to tell some spooky Halloween stories they learned or experienced growing up.

The first video features Cherokee Elder Eli Sequiche telling the tale about human-like creatures engulfed in flames, and voices coming from a cemetery.

The second video features Cherokee Elders Joe Grayson and Ruth Bryant. Grayson tells of a little girl who becomes sick because she messed up a trail. Bryant tells a story about a certain hill and how you should make noise and hold hands while traveling it.
