The Cherokee Nation tapped some of their elders to tell some spooky Halloween stories they learned or experienced growing up.

In the first video Cherokee Elders Betty Smith, Joe Grayson and Eli Sequiche tell their Halloween tales. Smith tells the story of an owl that disappeared, Grayson tells a spooky nighttime tale from his childhood, and Sequiche tells of skeletons chasing young boys.

The second video features Joe Grayson telling his tale about a hunting experience he was told about.
