San Jose Earthquakes forward Chris Wondolowski, a member of the Kiowa tribe of Oklahoma, is featured in a three-part series that captures his rise to the top in Major League Soccer, and how his Native American roots have influenced his style of play.

Wondo, whose Indian name means "warrior coming over the hill," is currently a member of the USMNT. The team recently knocked Haiti out of the Gold Cup, and will next play against Panama July 13 at Sporting Cup field in Kansas City, Kansas.
