BROOKS, Calif. – Eleanor Pelobello of Vallejo had just put a few dollars into a $1 Wheel of Fortune slot machine Oct. 3 at Cache Creek Casino Resort when it hit a huge progressive jackpot of $1,523,824. She had only been playing for about 10 minutes, she told a casino employee.
