The Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy (SLIG), hosted by the Utah Genealogical Association, will be held January 23-27 at the Radisson Hotel, 215 W. South Temple, in Salt Lake City Utah.

"The key is that it is an immersion learning opportunity," Kristie Fillerup, SLIG director, told Deseret News. "You are surrounded by nothing but other genealogists for an entire week."

Cost for the institute is $400 for UTA members and $450 for non-members. Evening classes are also available for students and the general public for $10 per class. For more information call 801-259-4172 or visit the Utah Genealogical Association website.
