I have been advised that the mayor of Tulsa is objecting to placing in trust a few acres of land for the Muskogee Creek Nation.
It is my opinion that the city of Tulsa and its mayor should count their blessings and commend the Muskogee Creek Nation for all the past good the nation has brought to their community.
It is also my opinion that such an action by their resolution would have an overpowering adverse impact on tribal governments all over our nation.
I urge every tribe in the United States to support the Muskogee Creek Nation in their efforts.
The city of Tulsa should take stock of this situation. They have much more to lose than they have to gain.
