Truckers forced to find another route

With the Cornwall Island border crossing closed indefinitely due to protests by Akwesasne residents over the arming of border guards, on of the first groups affected is the trucking industry. The protest from the Mohawk community over the Canada Border Services Agency arming their customs officers at the Cornwall port of entry led to the closure of the customs office and stopping all traffic across the northern span of the Seaway International Bridge.
