The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is forecasting a “hot” fire season, but conducting prescribed burns is one way to help prevent uncontrolled fires, which can damage homes and businesses. The tribe conducts these burns each fall and spring, after the snow melts, but before the grass is green.
