The Muscogee (Creek) Nation's central government should be in charge of its communities' casino funds, a tribal judge ruled this week. The decision takes control of the funds from individual tribal communities. The judge also asked for an accounting of funds from each of the six communities that have run gambling operations from fiscal year 2002 to now. The communities listed in the lawsuit are Bristow, Checotah, Duck Creek, Eufaula, Holdenville and Okemah.
