Funding is the only obstacle between Oglala Sioux Tribal employees and mandatory drug testing using hair follicles. At its meeting last month, the Oglala Sioux Tribal Council approved an ordinance that requires all employees of the tribe to submit to follicle drug testing, according to council member Craig Dillon. Different tribe employers already have drug testing policies in place, but Dillon said some are not effective and the goal is uniformity and accuracy.
