Tribe: Lawsuit dismissal 'lay to rest any doubts' about plans for Gun Lake Casino


A federal judge has dismissed what was widely considered the last legal challenge to development of a $200 million casino complex. Former Wayland Township Trustee David Patchak sued to challenge the U.S. Department of the Interior's decision to take into trust 147 acres where the the Gun Lake Band of Pottawatomi Indians wants to build its casino. U.S. District Judge Richard Leon issued the ruling Wednesday in Washington, D.C.
