A new program that has the support of Wisconsin tribes is aimed at supporting Native Americans released from prison in an effort to reduce the chance they commit future crimes. The Wisconsin Indian Tribal Community Reintegration Program is set to launch in January. Officials plan to fund the program with a $287,000 federal grant, as well as a projected $125,000 from state resources.
