The Gila River Indian Community says a decision to create a 54-acre reservation near Glendale is invalid because the acreage exceeds what a federal settlement entitled the Tohono O'odham Nation. The Gila River tribe filed an amended complaint Tuesday challenging the U.S. Department of Interior's July ruling to create the reservation, which could pave the way for a casino near Glendale's sports and entertainment district.
