Tom Diamond wasn't born a Tigua, but his fascination with Native American culture has led him to a bountiful, decades-long friendship with the Ysleta del Sur Pueblo that leaves him firmly enmeshed in modern pueblo history. Diamond was honored last week for his years of service to the Tiguas, who had a celebration in his honor and presented him with a traditional Tigua bow and arrow upon his announcement that he'll become semi-retired.
