Thunder Valley Casino Resort in Lincoln, California, announced the grand opening of Illusions – its newest bar and ultra-lounge. Formerly known as Falls Bar, the grand opening of the completely renovated Illusions took place on Dec.31 during Thunder Valley’s Big Easy New Year’s Eve Celebration.

“We are delighted to offer our guests an entirely new and exclusive Thunder Valley experience at Illusions,” said Dawn Clayton, General Manager at Thunder Valley Casino Resort. “There is no better occasion to open the doors to our newest venue than on New Year’s Eve as we ring in 2015. Illusions will offer a phenomenal selection of hand crafted cocktails including our signature house smoked show drinks, champagnes and wines by the glass, all in a luxurious atmosphere that is unlike any in the region.”

Fox 40 News reported that bartenders and waitresses had to “audition” to become staffed at the new lounge. “We actually have 180 team members in the beverage department and 20 applied for the positions of Illusion sever, and we actually qualified 12 to give that Four-Diamond service, and really engage that sell at the table,” the management told Fox 40. The renovation cost more than $3 million, and is pegged as the “latest and greatest” ultra-lounge in Sacramento.
