Three suspects arrested in the beating death of a man in Harrah made preliminary appearances Tuesday in Yakima County Superior Court. The men, ages 32, 34 and 19, are being held for investigation of second-degree murder in the killing of Daniel Simmons. Simmons, 42, was a member of the Quinault tribe on the Olympic Peninsula but had been raised by relatives in Harrah. He was fatally beaten Sunday night during a fight on the property on Harrah Road, where his girlfriend lives.
