The Country’s Biggest Casino to Host Auditions for ‘Survivor’

MASHANTUCKET, Conn. – “Survivor” star wannabes will have the opportunity to audition for the perennial hit “reality” show when Foxwoods Resort Casino hosts try-outs for the popular CBS series on Wednesday, March 16.

Anyone harboring fantasies about becoming the next Richard Hatch should head to Foxwoods Resort Casino from noon to 5 p.m. that day, the casino announced in a release.

Foxwoods will host the afternoon of auditions in conjunction with WFSB Channel 3 in Connecticut. Each aspiring “Survivor” tribe member will be filmed for one minute. The film will be reviewed by “Survivor” producers and casting executives. Channel 3 Eyewitness News Traffic Anchor, Olessa Stepanova, will host the event. Partner radio station WPLR-FM will be on hand to interact with contestants and dispense prizes.

The auditions will take place in the Grand Ballroom. Contestants must sign a video release and waiver, available at Foxwoods prior to the audition. The first 300 people will be guaranteed an audition; all other applicants will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis.
