Alonzo Green, 18, of Fort Totten, has been sentenced to 18 months in prison for aiding and abetting willful and malicious arson in setting a fire which burned a house belonging to Della Thompson Herald May 5 on the reservation. U.S. District Court Chief Judge Rodney S. Webb ordered Green to further serve two years supervised release after his prison term. He must make restitution of $32,592.82 ? with several other defendants, perform 75 hours of community service and pay $100 to the Crime Victim's Fund. The BIA investigated the incident. Green was found guilty Aug. 8 by a jury.
