Soboba annexation plan to be up for review

After a wait of more than a year, the public will get a chance to review and comment on a draft environmental report for the Soboba Band of Luiseño Indians' proposal to annex almost 535 acres to its reservation next to San Jacinto where it wants to build a hotel-casino complex. The notice about the draft was published in the Federal Register on Thursday. The federal Bureau of Indian Affairs has oversight in the review process.
