Indian ownership of the vacant land has not been well known, although Mayor Jim Wood has been mentioning it of late, jokingly promising folks that no tribal gaming casino is proposed in the core of the city. Actually, according to executives of the tribe's wholly owned subsidiary, GF Development, there's been no change in the project since it was known as CityMark.
