Leaders of the Seneca Nation want to take a more direct and active role in the federal court slugfest over the legality of the tribe’s efforts to build a major downtown Buffalo casino. The tribe’s lawyers filed court papers Monday seeking to become a “full party” in the legal fight between casino opponents and the federal government, which granted permission for the casino.
