TribalNet is now accepting recommendations and applications for the 2010 Tribal Technology Leadership Award.
Information Technology leaders and teams from tribes and Native American casinos throughout the U.S. have the chance to be honored for their hard work and dedication through the prestigious Tribal Technology Leadership award given out every year at the annual TribalNet conference.
The Tribal Technology Leadership Award is given to a leader or team that has demonstrated leadership through the effective implementation, integration, and use of technology at their tribal organization and/or casino.
Anyone representing leadership qualities and excellence in their role in this capacity at a tribal organization is eligible for this honor. The honoree is selected by a committee of industry representatives.
Last year, the IT team from Pechanga Resort & Casino was honored with the Tribal Technology Leadership Award during the 10th annual TribalNet conference. They’ve been able to implement successful programs that have helped them grow from a small IT department to one that has become a great example for other IT departments throughout this unique industry.
Recommendations and applications for the Tribal Technology Leadership Award can be found online. Applications must be submitted by Aug. 31, 2010 to be considered.
TribalNet is an industry resource for technology leaders at tribal organizations and casinos. TribalNet has been dedicated to bringing technology and tribes together for more than 10 years and will once again provide a forum and opportunity for representatives from tribes to discuss common issues, solutions and goals related to technology specifically at tribes, tribal organizations and casinos.
The 2010 conference will be held at the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno, Nev. Oct. 4 – 7. The 2010 Tribal Technology Leadership Award recipient will be presented during this annual event.
