Sealing the Deal
This winsome second-place winner in the annual photo contest held by the Inuit land-claims organization Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. netted Celina Satuqsi of Pond Inlet $200 and an enlarged copy of her photo. NTI, the organization responsible for coordinating the implementation of land-claims treaties between the Inuit and the Canadian government, holds a monthly contest open to Beneficiaries of the Nunavut Land Claims Agreement. Pictures of Nunavut landscapes, communities and wildlife will be considered, NTI says on its website.
