Adam Sandler, whose film The Ridiculous Six garnered unwanted publicity following a walkout by some Native actors, has finally spoken on the subject.
"It was just a misunderstanding and once the movie is out will be cleared up," Sandler told The Associated Press. He was speaking from the red carpet at the premiere of his new film Pixels.
Sandler added that the film is 100 percent pro-American Indian.
Audiences will get a chance to judge for themselves when the film is released on Netflix December 11.
