VERONA, N.Y. – The Villages at Turning Stone is one of the top 21 Good Sam Parks according to the 2009 Trailer Life RV Parks, Campground and Services Directory.
“The Trailer Life ranking is an important designation as campers rely on the campground directories for information about our park prior to their first visit,” said Patty Campbell, RV park manager. “We open for the season on April 17 and are excited to again be in that elite group at the very top of the list with the highest rankings.”
The Trailer Life Directory is the official directory of the Good Sam Club, the world’s largest RV owner’s organization with more than one million member families. With nearly 12,000 RV parks listed, it is the primary source to identify all Good Sam locations across the U.S. and Canada. The directory rates each park on completeness of facilities, cleanliness of restrooms, visual appeal and environmental quality to provide RVers with a basis for selecting the campground that best meets their needs.
The Villages at Turning Stone, which opened in 1994, features 175 paved sites with full utility hook-up, pool, laundry, nature trails and a camper store is conveniently located just a short distance from the Turning Stone Resort and Casino, located just off the NYS Thruway at Exit 33 in Verona. The RV park is an enterprise of the Oneida Indian Nation.
