Restitution hearing pushed back for Truhls; YouTube grave robber due back in court next week

The final chapter in the case against a Eureka man who removed artifacts from a Yurok Indian cultural site was pushed to next week on Thursday, when James Edward Truhls failed to show up in court. Park rangers at Patrick's Point State Park arrested Truhls in December 2008 after Truhls posted a video of himself on YouTube digging up the artifacts, which included arrowheads and an awl -- a sharp wooden tool used for a variety of things including poking holes in leather.
