A group of local students who face a higher-than-average dropout rate is getting a leg up through a Sandwich-based education consultant's research. The Mashpee Wampanoag tribe has contracted with Associated Advocacy Center — Visions for the Future, a nonprofit organization run by education advocate Toni Saunders, to track the tribe's students and find out what they need to succeed.
