Lawyers made closing arguments Thursday in the trial of a state park police officer accused of killing a Ramapough Indian three years ago, presenting sharply divergent versions of the deadly shooting in the woods in Mahwah. Officer Chad Walder and his two colleagues were in a "lawless" area littered with garbage and bullet casings on April 1, 2006, defense attorney Robert Galantucci said.
