We've put together a list of a few incredible powwows happening all across the nation this weekend just for you!

If one of these exciting events is located near you, we recommend heading over to enjoy some lively dancing and drumming, thrilling musical performances, and delicious, authentic foods!

Gathering of Eagles, Georgia

When & Where: November 9th – 11th in Folkston, Georgia.

Celebrating its 7th year, the Gathering of Eagles Powwow is going to be chockfull of fun festivities. Gates open 10AM on Friday. Festivities include authentic Native American arts and crafts, Eagleville Wild West Show, storytelling, and more! 23rd Annual Texas Championship Native American Pow Wow, Texas

When & Where: November 10th – 11th at Traders Village in Houston, Texas.

According to their website, “A two-day Native American Pow Wow with colorful tribal dance contests, an arts & crafts show, tipis, visiting with old friends, making new ones, honoring ceremonies, singing and much more will be part of the 23rd Annual Texas Championship Pow Wow.” Admission is free and parking is $3. Daleville 6th Annual Powwow, Alabama

When & Where: November 9th – 11th in Daleville, Alabama.

This year’s theme is “Honor our Armed Forces.” Gates open at 10AM each day. Powwow goers will enjoy watching competitive dances and special demonstrations while snaking on delicious traditional Native American foods like Fry Bread. For more information about this event, click here.

Native Rhythms Festival, Florida

When & Where: November 9th – 11th in Wickham Park in Melbourne, Florida.

Gates open at 10AM each day this weekend. A message from the festival’s hosts: “The Indian River Flute Circle and Native Heritage Gathering, Inc. proudly present the fourth annual gathering of the Native Rhythms Festival. This three day festival during Native American Heritage Month honors the culture of the indigenous peoples of the Americas through music, and especially the music of the Native American Flute.” For more information about this event, click here.
