Kick off July the right way by putting some powwow action in your weekend!

Here's a great list of powwows happening this weekend all over the country!

If one of these events is located near you, we suggest you head on over and enjoy some thrilling dances, lively musical performances, and, of course, delicious traditional foods!

91st Annual Mashpee Wampanoag Powwow, Massachusetts

When & Where: June 29th - July 1st at the Barnstable County Fair Grounds in East Falmouth, Massachusetts.

This weekend event begins each day at 10AM with grand entries at 12PM. Contestants will be competing for $35,000 in cash and prizes! Other festivities will include a clam bake, Fox Muhsh8n Race, Wampanoag Nation Singers and Dancers, and more! For more information about this event, clickhere.

19th Annual Kanatsiohareke Strawberry Festival, New York

When & Where: June 30th - July 1st in Fonda, New York

According to their site, the annual Kanatsiohareke Strawberry Festival is a "family-friendly celebration of Mohawk culture that is shared with friends, relatives, volunteers and everybody in the local Mohawk River Valley community." This year's festivities will include storytelling, traditional Mohawk foods, authentic Native American crafts, and more! For more information about this event, click here.

40th Annual Oneida Pow Wow, Wisconsin

When & Where: June 29th - July 1st at Norbert Hill Center Ground in Oneida, Wisconsin.

Celebrating it's 40th year, the Oneida Pow Wow promises that this event is not to be missed! This year world class dancers will compete for over $80,000 in prize money! Weekend passes are available for $12 and daily passes are $7. For more information about this event, click here.

Rosebud Casino 13th Annual Pow Wow, Nebraska

When & Where: July 2nd - 4th at the Rosebud Casino in Valentine, Nebraska.

This three day event will begin July 2nd at 7pm. Contestants will compete for $30,000 in cash prizes. With the area's largest fireworks display starting at dusk on July 4th, this is not an event to be missed! For more information about this event, click here.
