Patricia Michaels, the Taos Pueblo designer who made it to the finals on season 11 of Project Runway, will return to the TV franchise in the Project Runway All-Stars spinoff.
"It's Official! I'm on Season 4 of PROJECT RUNWAY ALL STARS!" she tweeted today, linking to an Entertainment Weekly article announcing the cast.
Michaels will again face Michelle Lesniak, who won Season 11. The field of 14 designers pulls mostly from the past three seasons, but also includes Season 4 designer Chris March.
Project Runway All Stars premieres October 30 on Lifetime. It is hosted by Alyssa Milano and features Zanna Roberts Rassi in the Tim Gunn "mentor" capacity. Judges are Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman, and guest judges this season will include Nicole Scherzinger, Laverne Cox, and (this will be interesting) Snooki and JWoww of Jersey Shore.
The current season of Project Runway features two Native designers—Korina Emmerich, Puyallup, and Kini Zamora, Native Hawaiian. The field has been narrowed to eight, and both Kini and Korina are still alive.
