The trial of a state park ranger accused of shooting a Ramapough Indian three years ago continued Thursday with defense testimony. Among the first witnesses to testify on behalf of state park police officer Chad Walder was his wife, Lorna, a now retired park ranger. Lorna Walder told jurors in Superior Court in Hackensack that her husband was treated for back pain as well as bruises and welts on his back and chest following the shooting on April 1, 2006, near Stag Hill in Mahwah.
