Yesterdat the Osage LLC Board of Directorsannounced the resignation of its Chief Executive Officer Carol E. Leese, effective March 31, 2014. Leese is resigning after five years of service. "We're grateful for Carol's hard work," said Board Chairwoman Mary Elizabeth Ricketts. "We wish him well in his new endeavors and thank him for his willingness to help in the transition."

The limited liability company was established in April 2008 by the Osage Nation Congress to manage the Osage Nation’s business activities separate from the affairs of tribal government. Its mission is to increase the economic well being of members of the Nation by building wealth, earning profits, diversifying the economy, and providing employment opportunities for the people of the Osage Nation. In spring 2009, Leese joined as CEO and began organizing an executive team to manage and grow Osage, LLC.

"The opportunity to serve as CEO during the start-up years of Osage LLC has been a rewarding experience," said Leese. "I am honored to have served the Osage Nation."

The Osage LLC Board is engaged in a nationwide executive search to replace Leese. "We are pleased at the prospect of a smooth transition in this New Year and excited about the next phase in the life of the company," said Ricketts.
