Olympic Games a showcase for Native culture

The First Nations played a large and visible role at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver from the opening ceremonies with four large translucent welcome totems as the centerpiece of the stage, to the closing ceremony where the chiefs of the four host First Nations entered the VIP area before the prime minister of Canada. This photo essay shows the vibrant and integral involvement of Native people in the Games.
