Olinger Returns to Agua Caliente Band Tribal Council as Vice Chairman

On September 25, The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians announced Larry N. Olinger as the new Vice Chairman following the results of the tribe’s recent elections.

Olinger, who was first elected to the Tribal Council as a member in 1961, served as secretary/treasurer in 1969 and as chairman from 1970-71. He was elected to the seat vacated by Jeff L. Grubbe, who was elected chairman earlier this year.

“We’re very pleased to have Mr. Olinger back on the Tribal Council,” Grubbe said in a tribal press announcement. “We benefit greatly from his many years of past experience.”
